Aston Villa are not thought to be taking any further action after studying footage that allegedly showed a fan making a racist gesture towards a Chelsea supporter on Saturday.
Unai Emery’s Villa beat the Blues 2-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Ollie Watkins and John McGinn.
But video later emerged that appeared to show a man, with a yellow circle around him in the below clip, targeting a rival Chelsea fan sitting in the home end, close to him.
It appeared he made an alleged monkey gesture towards the person in question, before appearing to flick the V sign and say ‘f*** off’.
One Villa fan sitting near the offender in the away end sees the apparent racist gesture, laughs out loud and follows up with an obscene gesture to the same Chelsea supporter.
