Cody Simpson may not be playing any part in the Olympic Games in Paris, but the pop star-turned-swimmer is certainly enjoying his trip to France.
Simpson, 27, failed to qualify for this year’s sporting bonanza at Australia’s time trials, ending his dream of representing his nation on the biggest stage.
But he has flown to Paris to support his former teammates, as well as his girlfriend Emma McKeon – Australia’s most decorated Olympian – as they attempt to take home a haul of medals.
And Simpson has taken in the sights in Paris, having been snapped at the famous Moulin Rouge on Tuesday.
According to News Corp, he had a night on the town with fellow swimmers Cameron Usher, Bowen Gough and Matt Ferraro.
A photo of Simpson with a plethora of dancing girls was posted by Jasmine Bard, an Australian in the ladies troupe.
‘So lovely to meet you guys,’ she wrote on social media, adding an Australian flag to her caption.
She uploaded a photo with the boys, adding: ‘Hope you guys enjoyed the show’.

McKeon took gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay on Saturday and is hoping to win another relay gold later this week.
She is staying in the Olympic village during her stay in Paris, which has drawn criticism and been described as ‘woke’ by critics.
Organizers at the Paris Games were determined to make this Olympics the most sustainable of all time, prioritizing a green approach in almost every area.
However, this aggressive focus on being eco-friendly has resulted in appalling conditions for competitors striving for greatness in the French capital, meaning world records have been few and far between so far.

Every room is without air conditioning, leading to uncomfortably stuffy temperatures, while they are all equipped with bog-standard cardboard beds.
Australian swimming queen Ariarne Titmus described the conditions as ‘ridiculous’.
‘It probably wasn’t the time I thought I was capable of, but living in the Olympic Village makes it hard to perform,’ she admitted in an interview on Sunday.
‘It’s definitely not made for high performance, so it’s about who can really keep it together in the mind.’
