Novak Djokovic will be looking to win his fourth US Open title at this year’s tournament.
The Serbian, seeded at No. 2 for the tournament, last won in New York back in 2018 when he defeated Juan Martin del Potro in straight sets.
Djokovic missed last year’s US Open because of his Covid vaccine status. In his last appearance at the competition, the 36-year-old was beaten by Daniil Medvedev in the 2021 final.
He will be hoping to go all the way at this year’s competition after suffering a dramatic loss to world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final earlier this summer.
Many fans have spotted that the Serbian wears a mysterious metal disc taped to his chest during matches.
